Books.

I cannot express how truly wonderful it has been to have time to read (for pleasure). Yes, to actually pick up a delicious book, curl up on my cozy sofa, and to do nothing else, until the entire breath of fresh air has been inhaled. This is pure bliss.

I find that their is nothing more disappointing than letting school get in the way of one's education. But I am determined to make up for it, as well as to set aside more time for pleasurable reading despite due dates and deadlines.

Being too consumed with other activities and busy work to be able to read, is like not having time to eat or sleep. (Which has occured a few times this past semester, unfortunately.) Nonetheless, its a neccesity to a healthy mind and a happy heart. For my well-being.

If you are in search of some meaty books...here are a few that I have read the past week or two..that I highly recommend...

Diary -Chuck Palahniuk
The Picture of Dorian Grey -Oscar Wilde (fabulous)
The Heart is A Lonely Hunter -Carson McCullers
The House of Mirth -Edith Wharton

and I'm currently reading Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. If you aren't aquainted with him, perhaps take a peek into his work, "Childhood".
